Frank Costanza once famously said "As I rained blows upon him, I thought to myself.... there has to be a better way"... and sure, he was thinking about the creation of Festivus and not sports cards, however, as I sat one day at my kitchen table, sorting a hobby box I just ripped, putting each card next to the post it note I had written for every team, I too thought to myself "there has to be a better way".

As my wife asked me for the 3rd time that week "When will we get the kitchen table back", I knew there MUST be something out there that fills this need. I can't be the only one who sorts their cards this way right?

And so I looked, and looked, and looked. I found a couple awkward plastic slotted thingys more suitable for game cards that would take up an entire shelf and some logo'd tabs for boxes on etsy, but nothing to do the satisfying (and faster) leg work of getting the cards set up for my binders, boxes, and top loaders....

So what does one do? They make it them damn self! So I figured, if this made my life easier.. a mat with all the teams that was super easy to roll out, one that keeps my cards safe even when dropped, it'll keep my wife happy (err.. less annoyed), and can be stored almost anywhere... well then maybe you too would benefit from such an item. And so The Card Organizer was born!
